Can I Change a Fuel Filter DIY?

With the right skillset, it can be pretty straightforward. Usually, all you'll need for the job are:

Some safety equipment (goggles and work gloves)
A jack and jack stands
Tools like socket or open-ended wrenches, a flathead screwdriver, and some needle-nose or hose clamp pliers
A couple shop rags or towels and a drip pan
Penetrating oil (for loosening any rusty fasteners)
Thread sealant
